Features of Wooden Water Tanks

High insulation effect! Our company provides wooden water tanks, contributing to CO2 reduction.

The "wooden water tank" is, of course, made of "wood," so it does not rust, and it does not use nails or adhesives inside, preventing the growth of "algae." Wood has a high thermal insulation effect, making it difficult for water temperature to rise even in the scorching heat of midsummer, allowing for water to be supplied in a state close to nature. Additionally, the "Law for Promoting the Use of Wood in Public Buildings" has been enacted, mandating that wooden structures be used, especially for schools and government buildings with three stories or fewer. Our company particularly uses locally sourced timber to provide wooden water tanks for schools and public facilities, contributing to CO2 reduction. 【Features】 ■ Contributes to CO2 reduction ■ High seismic resistance ■ Does not rust because it is made of "wood" ■ Does not promote the growth of "algae" ■ Does not use nails or adhesives inside ■ High thermal insulation effect *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

Reduction effects of greenhouse gases (GHG) in wooden water tanks.

By effectively utilizing wood, we can revitalize forests and contribute to the reduction of greenhouse gases!

Our company compared the GHG emissions of "wooden water tanks" with those of existing water storage tanks. This research was conducted under the guidance of an associate professor specializing in wood research at a certain national university, and the GHG emissions were calculated based on the materials and weights of each tank. The results show that the wooden tanks, which have a high degree of "wood utilization," have lower GHG emissions, followed by stainless steel tanks with high recycling efficiency, and finally FRP tanks with poor recycling efficiency. By installing wooden water tanks in public projects and other areas, our company contributes to the revitalization of local wood utilization and the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. 【Comparison of GHG emissions for each tank / for a capacity of 100t】 ■ Life Cycle GHG (kgCO2-eq) - Wooden (domestic wood): 5,660 - Wooden (foreign wood): 7,933 - Stainless steel: 12,620 - FRP: 15,434 *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
